Dr. Brenda Panzera

Medical Oncology & Hematology

Brenda Panzera, MD graduated with a degree in medicine from the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Syracuse. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center where she was chief medical resident. Following her residency, Dr. Panzera completed her fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she was chief fellow. Dr. Brenda Panzera is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Hematology and Oncology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and attending physician at Mount Sinai and Lenox Hill Hospitals. She has previously served on the Oncology Care Center Performance and Improvement Committee at Mount Sinai, and has instructed house staff at Lenox Hill Hospital, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Panzera is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Medical Oncology and Hematology and is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She provides care for a range of benign and malignant blood disorders as well as solid tumors, with a special interest in breast cancer and women’s oncology. She strongly believes in treating the whole person while providing excellent and compassionate care.
